Before the flight: On arrival at Gaisberg Mountain, you'll meet your professional pilot, fill out your flight ticket and walk a few steps to the take-off area where the experience begins.
Take Off
Tandem Paragliding - The First Steps
Preparation: You'll be securely connected to your harness alongside our experienced tandem pilot. We'll conduct a comprehensive briefing, including a simulation of the takeoff, so you'll feel completely prepared.

Launch Sequence: On the launch site, your pilot will give you a quick reminder of the key commands, perform a final safety check and choose the best time to launch based on wind conditions.

The First Steps: With clear instructions from your pilot, a few confident steps (less in moderate winds, more in lighter conditions) will initiate the launch and you'll feel the thrill of flight as you gently take to the air.
And just like that, your paragliding adventure over the breathtaking landscape of Salzburg begins!

The Run... Good to know.
Do we run? Why?
​
We walk, then progressively accelerate, "run" to reach the airspeed necessary for the wing to generate lift and fly. Don´t worry, as you saw, it's not a 100-meter sprint. When the necessary speed is reached, we (pilot-passenger) are gently lifted into the air, airborne. So we don't jump, we fly!
In-Flight

Landing
Gently ending your Tandem flight
As your unforgettable tandem paragliding experience above Salzburg comes to an end, our experienced pilots will provide you with a briefing for a gentle return to the ground. Focused on your comfort and safety. You can expect to land with the utmost care and gentleness using one of two methods.

Two Landing Options:
​
Seated Landing: Your pilot may opt for a seated landing, in which case you will simply be instructed to lift both legs while you gently slide into the protection of your harness. Your pilot will guide you through this effortless process.
​
Landing on Your Feet: Alternatively, you may land on your feet. This is a straightforward procedure, often compared to simply walking down the stairs, and usually requires only a few easy, assisted steps.
​
Your experienced pilot will brief you thoroughly on the specific landing method to be used prior to your descent, ensuring that you are fully prepared for a comfortable and smooth ending to your breathtaking flight over Salzburg.
After the Flight
After a happy landing, your pilot will then help you remove your equipment and cheer you up with a high five. Afterward, you can view your high-quality photos and videos, highlighting the best memories of your flight.
