Experience Salzburg City from Above
How Your Flight Works
Your paragliding adventure begins with a scenic drive up the Gaisberg mountain, located just 22 minutes from the city center. Experience the seamless transition from the charming streets into Salzburg’s breathtaking skies, accompanied by a professional pilot.
After meeting your pilot, a short two-minute walk brings you to the starting area, where you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing, gear up, and get ready to fly. Then, together, we take a few steps down the gentle Gaisberg slope, and the glider lifts us smoothly into the air.
Once airborne, you will see iconic landmarks like the Hohensalzburg Fortress from a completely new perspective. Your panoramic flight extends far beyond the city limits, showcasing the stunning Untersberg mountain range, shimmering valleys, and an unfolding countryside that includes the beautiful Wallersee and Obertrumersee lakes.
Your flight over this iconic UNESCO World Heritage city concludes with a gentle landing on a large, grassy field in Guggenthal, located just at the foot of the mountain. From there, you can easily catch the bus and be back in the heart of Salzburg in just 12 minutes.
