Experience Lake Wolfgangsee from Above
How Your Flight Works:
Your paragliding adventure begins at the base of the Zwölferhornbahn cable car in the charming village of St. Gilgen. Together with your pilot, you will take a relaxing ride up to the 1,522-meter summit.
As you reach the top, a short 3-minute walk brings you from the mountain station to the takeoff area, where you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing and get ready to fly. Then, together, we take a few steps down the gentle Zwölferhorn takeoff, and the glider lifts us smoothly into the air.
Once airborne, you will find yourself comfortably gliding above the deep blue waters of Lake Wolfgangsee. Surrounded by the scenic panorama of Lake Fuschl and Mondsee, the iconic Schafberg, and the sheer cliffs of the Falkensteinwand, you will experience the magical feeling of flying above the Austrian Alps.
Your tandem flight over one of Austria's most iconic lakes concludes with a gentle landing in the valley in St. Gilgen, so you can easily continue exploring the lakeside.
